The Donkey Society of Queensland will be conducting an Information Day on Sunday 26 May at the property of Ian Mitchell, 403 German Church Road Redland Bay, commencing at 9.30 am.
Speakers will include: Dr Chris Wain, veterinarian, who will speak on matters relating to donkey health and welfare; Jenny Randall, vet nurse, who will speak about clicker training, and give a practical demonstration with Ian’s two donkeys. There will be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion about donkey issues. Tea and coffee will be provided at the beginning of the day, and we will finish with a BYO lunch and time for a social chat. The full list of speakers is not yet finalised. However, we will need to have an indication from people who will be attending, so that we know that there will be sufficient numbers to make the day worthwhile. Please email, phone or message to let me know if you are coming, or if you have any enquiries. Further information will be circulated closer to the time. Ian Mitchell’s property is centrally located for members and will be a lovely setting for the day. Please make an effort to attend this event, I am sure it will be most enjoyable
